I was very curious about this movie, wanted to know exactly what the hell was going on. I'm finding myself entertained by food prep and presentation. (I'm still mad that I can't eat any of it). Well, all except on Hannibal, hard pass.
But I did enjoy this movie. It is dark and disturbing, but nothing close to most horror movies I've seen. It is rated R, but not excessive in my opinion.
The plotline is interesting, all of these people are present for this special meal and as the dinner moves along, more and more is revealed as to why they are there.
Imagine if Gordon Ramsay went way off the rails. 😂.
The plot was fairly predictable, but not entirely. I don't want to give too much away, because like the menu, the story needs to unfold on it's own for you to get the full experience and enjoyment.
I will say that I didn't like anyone there. Lol. All various levels of assholism going on.
FINAL VERDICT: INNOCENT! Like my ass would have been at this damn dinner. If I wasn't so demanding that my plate be full at restaurants, I might one day experience one of these 8 course meal tid bits that will probably leave me hungry afterward. Bailiff, very delicately, release this movie.
